Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our Assisted Living team assists the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. This part-time third shift 10:30p-6:30a position offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and A Fun Work Environment with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters?
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to document care given.
- Good assessment skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
- Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.
- Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
