The work of a Cargo Operation Manager includes but are not limited to managing, directing coordinating and controlling through subordinate personnel all aspects of a cargo operation, providing performance reports to the Cargo General Manager as required. The Cargo Operations Manager ensures that Service Levels Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met, analyses operations to establish efficient processes, ensures that compliance with all Governmental requirements are met, assist with monthly billing procedures ensuring that budgets and adequate resources are maintained, participates in the training, mentoring, coaching, counseling, discipline, hiring and termination of subordinates; meets and maintains communication with customers, provides monthly reports and any additional tasks as appointed by the General Manager.
