About The Position

ID3 Group is seeking a highly skilled Carpenter with expertise in high-end custom fabrication. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fine carpentry, scenic construction, and precision craftsmanship. This role involves fabricating custom scenic elements, exhibits, and specialty structures, working with a variety of materials to achieve premium finishes.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in high-end carpentry, scenic fabrication, or custom millwork.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Expertise in precision cutting, joinery, and finishing techniques.
Experience working with a variety of materials, including wood, MDF, plastics, and laminates.
Ability to operate woodworking tools and machinery, such as table saws, routers, planers, and sanders.
Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel for on-site installations as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in custom scenic or exhibit fabrication is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Fabricate high-end custom carpentry projects, including scenic elements, exhibits, and specialty builds.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD designs to execute detailed builds accurately.
Work with various materials, including wood, laminates, acrylics, and composite materials.
Perform precise cutting, shaping, and assembly of components using hand and power tools.
Ensure all finished products meet high-quality standards and client specifications.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other fabricators to bring creative concepts to life.
Operate woodworking machinery and maintain tools in excellent working condition.
Conduct on-site installations as needed, ensuring seamless assembly and finishing.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges to maintain project timelines.
