About The Position

We are seeking a high-energy, competitive, and self-motivated Carrier Sales Representative to join a fast-growing, tech-enabled logistics firm. In this role, you won't just be moving freight; you will be building a business. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing a private portfolio of carrier relationships to ensure seamless service for a diverse customer base.

Requirements

  • The Competitor: You have a "sales drive" and thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments where multitasking is the norm.
  • The Negotiator: You are a confident communicator who enjoys the "art of the deal" and can think on your feet.
  • The Professional: You possess a Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, or Communications preferred) and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience: While previous experience in logistics or customer service is preferred, we value grit and a willingness to learn above all else.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Ownership: Create and manage your own individual book of business through aggressive lead generation and relationship management.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify, vet, and negotiate with carrier partners to move available freight efficiently and profitably.
  • Market Mastery: Maintain a pulse on freight market trends to make informed, real-time pricing and capacity decisions.
  • Collaborative Execution: Work closely with the customer sales team to resolve inquiries and ensure high-touch service delivery.
  • Capacity Documentation: Accurately track and manage truck capacity within our proprietary TMS to optimize workflow.
