About The Position

Our Carrier Sales Team plays a critical role in our success. While our Account Executives focus on securing freight from customers, our Carrier Sales Representatives work directly with trucking companies across the country to move the freight safely, efficiently, and profitably. This role is for fast-paced and phone-driven , ideal for individuals who enjoy competition, relationship building, and problem solving

Requirements

  • Competitive and self-motivated to succeed in fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal colleagues and external customers
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Sales experience in logistics or competitive industry preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); confident when speaking on phone
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly
  • Coachable and willing to learn in a team environment
  • Ability to work full-time in our Columbus office
  • Maintain composure and a positive attitude in high-stress scenarios; thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience in logistics or competitive industry preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with carriers, owner-operators, dispatchers, and drivers across North America
  • Source new carrier partners through outbound calls, networking, and industry tools
  • Develop a network of trusted carriers you can rely on to move freight consistently
  • Properly vet carriers to ensure our freight moves safely and efficiently
  • Negotiate rates to ensure profitability while maintaining service reliability
  • Provide full coverage and coordination of shipments for our Enterprise accounts – future, same day, and spot coverage.
  • Dispatch and confirm that drivers have accurate pickup details within each shipment
  • Solve problems quickly and maintain strong service levels for our customers
  • Collaborate closely with our Enterprise team to find the best solutions for customer shipments
