The Case Aide provides support to the Case Planner and Supervisors with case management and administrative tasks. The Family Case Aide will smooth the level of paperwork, advocacy, and communication to and from clients and team members to increase the program's productivity. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of Position: Gathering client resources (e.g., mental health services, vocational/alternative school settings, housing information, recreational activities, etc. Assist with reception coverage as needed such as answering the telephone, screen, and direct calls. Escort individuals and families to appointments when needed and maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes for each contact. Ensure client confidentiality and audit compliance. Escort individuals and families to appointments when needed. Request school and medical records from the service provider. Self-motivational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Establish and maintain respectful professional boundaries with individuals and families. The ability to assist in the engagement of families through casework. Knowledge, understanding, and respect for diverse cultural norms and traditions with clients and co-workers.
