Our over 6,000 employees are all united by one mission: For the People. Summary This role will wo rk as a floater in our office, training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation. This position trains for an eventual move to a highly sought Case Manager position. Compensation for this role starts at $23 per hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Insurance Adjuster, or Support Role preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate attention to detail with a great attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization
  • Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and type no less than 35 wpm
  • Not remote eligible. This role is on-site, which gives you the chance to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team. We’ve found that being in the office helps new team members get up to speed quickly and feel more connected.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow Case Managers
  • Order medical records from providers
  • Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carries
  • Investigate the nature and facts of cases
  • Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business
  • Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers under the direct supervision of an attorney
