About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Cashier & Customer Service Associate to join our Kansas City team. This role is the face of our business, requiring a sharp eye for detail at the point of sale and a welcoming personality for every customer who walks through our doors.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in retail, food service, or a high-volume customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Basic Math: Strong numerical skills for handling transactions and balancing registers.
  • People Skills: Ability to maintain a friendly, professional demeanor during busy peak hours.
  • Reliability: Consistent punctuality and a flexible attitude toward scheduling in the Kansas City area.

Responsibilities

  • Transaction Management: Accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments using our POS system.
  • Face-to-Face Service: Greet customers, answer questions about products/services, and provide a professional checkout experience.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle returns, exchanges, and service inquiries with a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Opening/Closing Duties: Assist with drawer counting, financial reporting, and ensuring the storefront is clean and organized.
  • Inventory Support: Help restock front-end displays and verify pricing accuracy throughout the shift.
  • Communication: Coordinate with floor staff and management to ensure a seamless customer journey.
