About The Position

The Lead Cashier is a extension of store Management. The Lead Cashier manages the cash flow and point of sale processes and procedures for their respective store. They are the liaison and voices for all cash management needs from the retail door to HQ. The Lead Cashier in partnership with management and Retail Coordinator implements SOP and training for staff. The Lead cashier in partnership with store management dictates the behaviors and procedures within the cash wrap areas.

Requirements

  • Availability Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.
  • Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.
  • 2-3-year experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience with retail/apparel operations and Point of Sale a plus
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
  • Thorough communication and detail oriented
  • Problem solver and solution oriented.
  • Ability to lead a large team and delegate task.
  • Works with high attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of an assignment, project and/or process are thought through, addressed, and delivered for optimal results.

Responsibilities

  • Ambassador for the brand by re-enforcing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Completes all cashier-required transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Completes all components of current cashier training programs.
  • Ensures data integrity procedures are followed.
  • Provides register/cashier training to team as needed.
  • Handles customer situations in compliance with Policy and Procedures.
  • Maximizes opportunities at the cash-wrap to improve customer loyalty.
  • Audits, follows up and gives feedback on register auditing procedures.
  • Performs opening and closing register procedures.
  • Performs all retail related charge backs.
  • Manages POS procedures across all retail doors in partnership with Store Management/Lead Cashiers.
