Food & Beverage Cashier SUMMARY The Food and Beverage Cashier greets and assists guests with purchases. The Cashier prepares food while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Stock, order and maintain the outlet. Provide exceptional experiences by following hotel values, standards, and service levels. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and facilities maintenance.

Requirements

  • Upbeat personality with a servant’s heart and permanent smile.
  • Previous food handling experience, preferably in a Bistro or Café setting.
  • Cash handling and POS skills.
  • Must integrate company values throughout all interactions.
  • Must be willing to participate in a learning environment.
  • Serve Safe Certification.
  • Must be 18 years old serve alcohol.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Micros is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits a pleasant and helpful demeanor while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
  • Ability to display complete product and menu knowledge.
  • Uses Micros Point of Sale charge all purchases and provide proper discount to Membership.
  • Prepares all food items by following culinary standards to ensure taste and consistency.
  • Checks products in all coolers and restocks items to ensure adequate par levels throughout the shift.
  • Ability to properly handle food, ensure safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
  • Cleans and meticulously maintain all areas of the Canteen to ensure Montage standards and expectations.
  • Performs end of shift closing paperwork and reconciliation.
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Montage standards.
  • Adheres to all safety rules and guidelines in accordance with Montage, OSHA, state and federal law requirements.
  • Consistently demonstrates TIPS and Serve Safe training guidelines.
