The beautiful Shangri-La Resort + Golf Club, located at the tip of Monkey Island in the center of northeast Oklahoma's Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, is currently taking applications for seasonal workers. POSITION Cashier JOB DESCRIPTION Accurately collects payments and makes change to close out guest checks totaling food and beverage purchases in a friendly and courteous manner. REPORTS TO Restaurant Supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Related experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Liquor License (required)
- Must be able to maintain professional status through interface with customers, management, and co-workers.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including but not limited to extended hours, irregular shifts, evenings, holidays, and/or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Work area setup & stocking
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Greeting guests and members in a polite and personalized manner
- Receiving and Processing Guests' payment
