About The Position

As a Surveillance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, and maintenance of the digital and analog based Surveillance System at all our properties in Elko and Wendover.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Two (2) years of experience installing, repairing, programming, and maintaining a Surveillance system preferred
  • Two (2) years of Surveillance digital enterprise experience, electronic repair experience within a casino preferred
  • Experience working with multiple systems – Access Control, DVR Enterprise, analog matrix switch
  • Knowledgeable of Fiber Optics, UTP, Cat6, Cat5 & RG-59 cable along with accredited electronics courses. Ability to complete all required digital training in a satisfactory manner
  • Project management skills; prepare project scopes and oversee projects from start to finish in an acceptable manner
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Responsibilities

  • Install, program and maintain analog, IP camera types
  • Implement necessary changes to the approved system to meet Gaming Control Board & company requirements
  • Monitor and maintain the Security Alarm Access Control System
  • Train Surveillance Staff on the current system and all new system; ensure projects for both Surveillance and Security are developed, managed and completed with no interruptions to daily operation
  • Pull multiple cable types on property
  • Operate vehicle to transport equipment and/or supplies between properties/vendor
  • Maintain required knowledge to complete job functions and requirements in a satisfactory manner
  • Attendance and completion of company, corporate and vendor related classes to include online classes
  • Attendance to seminars involving project management, fiber optics, fluke networking, continued digital enterprise training and any other area to complete job function
  • This role requires frequent travel between our NNV regional offices within a 150-mile radius, typically at needed basis.
