About The Position

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Role and Responsibilities Position Summary The Galaxy XR is an exciting forward-looking product line within Samsung Electronics America under the PC team, driving innovation and market leadership in the Extended Reality (XR) space. This team is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and analysis of XR product launches, including collaborations with industry leaders like Warby Parker and market expansions. The division focuses on delivering cutting-edge XR solutions that enhance user experiences across various industries, from consumer electronics to enterprise applications. As an XR/PC Category Analyst Intern , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful launch of the Galaxy XR product line. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market trends, gathering competitor insights, and evaluating the performance of the Galaxy XR launch with Warby Parker. You will also review data and insights for Galaxy XR and the PC category, identifying key learnings and recommending actionable updates to optimize product positioning, marketing strategies, and customer engagement. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, gain hands-on experience in market analysis, and contribute to the growth of Samsung's innovative Galaxy XR product line.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student (or recent graduate).
  • Academic fields of study: Business Management, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • Project Management Tools : Proficiency in tools to manage launch planning and track progress.
  • Presentations : Expertise in using PowerPoint to create compelling presentations for stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis and Research : Proficiency in using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
  • Financial Analysis Skills : Ability to interpret financial statements and key performance indicators to assess market performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Launch Performance Analytics : Track and analyze key launch performance indicators (sell-in, sell-out, returns, traffic/conversion signals, promo efficiency) to assess Galaxy XR launch health. Recommend corrective actions to optimize performance.
  • Competitive Intelligence & Market Sensing : Conduct ongoing competitor tracking and analysis for the XR and PC categories. Analyze pricing moves, promotional strategies, retail footprints, and product feature differentiation.
  • Retail Channel Expansion Strategy : Support end-to-end planning for Galaxy XR expansion at Retail (e.g., Best Buy). Ensure readiness across merchandising, inventory flows, training, demo experiences, and execution timelines.
  • Partner Performance Evaluation (Warby Parker) : Build a structured post-launch assessment of the Warby Parker partnership. Identify key learnings, consumer feedback themes, and opportunities to improve product-market fit and engagement.
  • Customer Journey & Retail Experience Optimization : Evaluate and recommend improvements to the full consumer journey—from awareness to in-store demo to purchase. Ensure retail execution delivers a premium XR experience aligned with Samsung brand expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment and Execution : Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Retail Operations, Finance, and Partner teams to align key inputs. Ensure launch/expansion deliverables are executed on time.
  • Strategic Recommendations & Next-Step Roadmap : Deliver a go-forward strategy roadmap identifying key initiatives to accelerate adoption and improve engagement.
