Your Role This role combines Advanced Sourcing discipline with Embedded Software category ownership. The individual will focus on tactical execution for production programs (procurement, contracts, invoicing, supplier/vendor management) while supporting next-gen and strategic pursuit sourcing, where early supplier/vendor alignment is critical. This is an individual contributor role with full responsibility for day-to-day execution and enabling long-term supplier strategy.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years in technology program management, systems engineering, or procurement (automotive/technology/software preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in procurement execution (RFQs, contracts, invoicing, payments).
  • Working knowledge of the embedded software and automotive silicon vendor ecosystem.
  • Strong organizational skills for QBRs, trackers, and cross-functional deliverables.
  • Clear communicator; able to present to leadership and drive alignment

Responsibilities

  • Program & Procurement Execution Manage end-to-end sourcing for embedded software in production programs — RFQs, PR/POs, contracts, invoicing, and payments — while aligning requirements with program teams, negotiating change requests, and ensuring reuse opportunities.
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective supplier deliverables by maintaining clear channels between Aptiv teams and suppliers.
  • Lead QBRs with supplier leadership to secure alignment, track performance, and strengthen Aptiv’s leverage across programs.
  • Advanced Sourcing Support Support pursuits and next-gen programs by driving early supplier engagement and alignment with product roadmaps.
  • Consolidate supplier roadmaps, commercial terms, and capability data to inform leadership decisions.
  • Maintain templates, trackers, and documentation for Advanced Sourcing Board reviews.
  • Supplier & Data Management Act as primary contact for embedded software suppliers (e.g., AUTOSAR, OS/hypervisors, licensing/IP).
  • Collect and maintain supplier data — roadmaps, commercial models, benchmarking.
  • Manage supplier scorecards, dashboards, and performance reporting in line with SCM and GPO standards.
