About The Position

The Catering and Community Engagement Manager at MICDS (St. Louis, MO) is responsible for creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for students in the dining hall. This role ensures that fun and educational experiences are a regular aspect of the dining program, from daily operations to special events, fostering a positive and inclusive experience for the entire school community.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years in an F&B leadership role, culinary, or event management.
  • Strong leadership adn communication skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, coach, and supervise diverse teams.
  • Committed to the developed of associates to achieve performance goals.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Servsafe certified.
  • Maintain high-quality guest experience in order to ensure strong, positive, relationships with client.
  • Able to develop, implement, market and execute food service strategies.
  • Proficient in computer skills and knowledge of MS office products; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads & manages all marketing engagement programs in the dining halls.
  • Coordinate logistics, including space setup, execution, and communication.
  • Implements and maintains effective two-way communication systems that reach the entire MICDS community.
  • Coordinated with the FISD Regional Dietitian and the MICDS Community for specific nutrition Programming.
  • Develops new, unique to MICDS programs, which result in an increased level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Manage multiple program needs, tasks, and deadlines
  • Gather, analyze, and report program statistics to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, families, staff, faculty, and the local community.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dining program-related student experiences.
  • Support MICDS Community Events such as student orientation, family tours, and open house events.
  • Support MICDS community initiatives, including extracurricular activities and curricular programming.
