If you're a hands-on diesel engine technician or a skilled generator technician with a passion for high-performance engines, this role offers long-term career growth in the industrial engine repair field. 🛠️ What You’ll Do as an Engine Rebuild Mechanic: As an Engine Rebuild Mechanic, you’ll play a critical role in disassembling, repairing, and restoring diesel and natural gas industrial engines. You’ll work on power systems that support vital infrastructure and industries throughout Texas.

Requirements

• Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous mechanic or military experience
• Knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, and engine systems
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems independently

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree or certificate from a technical school preferred

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and recondition diesel and natural gas engines
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
• Remove and install engines and generator systems
• Test and adjust components for optimal performance
• Conduct technical analysis and failure diagnosis
• Work independently in the shop or at customer sites using a field service truck
