About The Position

The Cathodic Protection Technician performs pipe-to-soil potential testing on natural gas pipeline systems to confirm adequate cathodic protection. ● Perform pipe-to-soil potential readings on natural gas pipelines at test stations, services, regulators, and other assigned locations. ● Travel daily to assigned test points by driving and walking routes over varied terrain and in various weather conditions ● Accurately document test results and complete required forms and reports within required timelines. ● Represent the company professionally when interacting with client personnel, customers, and the public, including entering private property as required. ● Safety-first mindset; consistently follows procedures and policies. ● Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing, documentation, and reporting. ● Comfortable using handheld/mobile technology for data entry and field reporting. ● Ability to work independently, manage a route, and meet deadlines. Competitive Compensation: $20.00 per hour with GUARANTEED automatic $.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days. Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical/Dental/Vision Plan & 401K, Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) starting Day 1, Paid Holidays, Mileage Reimbursement unless using Company Provided Vehicle. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday; occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational needs and contract requirements. Travel Frequent local travel to job sites is required; field work is performed throughout the assigned territory.
