The mission of Metrocare Services is to serve our neighbors with developmental or mental health challenges by helping them find lives that are meaningful and satisfying. We are an agency committed to quality gender-responsive, trauma-informed care to individual experiencing serious mental illness, developmental disabilities, and co-occurring disorders. Metrocare programs focus on the issues that matter most in the lives of children, families, and adults we serve. The Center for Children with Autism at Metrocare (CCAM) provides quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to families in Dallas County. The population served are children with an autism spectrum disorder from 2-12 years of age. Our goal is to lead each child to his or her potential through evidence-based therapy founded on the principles of ABA. The ABA Intake Coordinator will be a part of a team of professionals at CCAM who’s the primary team member responsible for all aspects of the intake process into services for children to access ABA therapy – providing a warm and knowledgeable guide to families seeking access to ABA therapy for their child. This includes responding to interest contacts, processing referrals, providing tours of our centers, reviewing all intake documents with families, working with insurance plans to authorize initial services, and assimilating new children into the center’s schedule of therapy. The ABA Intake Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all external stakeholders interested in CCAM’s services.
