About The Position

Provide expert guidance (technical and industry) to internal and external customers. Assist the manager in maintaining a system that produces compliant and scientifically sound work. Support sales and marketing efforts on behalf of the manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, graduate degrees are desired
• Minimum of 5 years of experience relating to Functional and Performance Testing of Delivery Systems, Medical Devices or Combination Products
• Ability to work in the US without immediate or future sponsorship.
• Ability to research industry standards, provide technical resource to clients and technical laboratory staff.
• Excellent communication, technical writing, and team skills.
• Experience in Delivery Systems, Combination Products, Medical Device, Packaging Functional and Performance Testing and Analysis
• Acknowledged industry expert in Functional and Performance Testing of Delivery Systems, Medical Devices or Combination Products
• Know the work and processes well enough to answer questions for quoting
• Be or become an expert on existing regulation and standards

Responsibilities

• Advise BD and clients on our services and capabilities
• Propose how the company should adapt to changes in external regulations and standards
• Setting up projects for success in the lab
• Make sure that the study meets client needs and regulatory expectation
• Sales when talking to clients – Win work
• Thought leadership
• Develop content for marketing/thought leadership
• Support the laboratory with technical expertise
• Provide technical support for process improvements
• Technical project manager
• Design studies
• Draft quotes – make sure we are charging appropriately
• Review protocols
• Support client – capture what client wants
• Troubleshoot with technical questions and study design questions
