This role is essential in making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in crisis. As the CCS Clinical Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of conducting updated comprehensive assessments, providing brief crisis counseling, and delivering psycho-education. Plus, you'll have the chance to play a vital role in developing and implementing treatment team functions, therapeutic groups, and personalized crisis prevention, safety, recovery plans, and discharge plans. Join our vibrant CCS team as we come together to help restore individuals' functioning, strengthen resources and supports for them and their families, and ensure smooth care coordination and discharge planning back to the community. Your responsibilities will also include conducting clinical intakes and managing client admissions in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and Clinical Team Manager. You'll be key in maintaining client flow at budgeted census levels while creating a structured yet "homelike and comfortable" environment that promotes recovery and well-being, all in line with the goals and philosophy of the Mass Health Performance Specifications.

Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Relevant experience, including assessing and managing risk, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques to promote stabilization of clients in crisis
  • A genuine passion for working effectively within a team milieu and promoting consistent team interventions and stabilization

Responsibilities
