About The Position

General Sales Coach Wanted: Jeff Wyler CDJR of Lawrenceburg, IN! Brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, to be completed in May! Join a Top 3 volume Stellantis dealer in the State of Indiana! The position will be responsible for the overall success of the sales team by effectively coaching and managing the staff, planning, developing short-and long-term goals, and meeting requirements based on objectives set by upper management.

Requirements

  • Prior sales auto dealership management and coaching experience with a consistent history of sales growth, gross profit, and excellent CSI
  • Ability to oversee all hiring and training practices, ensure complete and accurate financials, oversee and maintain compensation plans for all sales team members
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have an enthusiastic and positive attitude with a coaching mindset
  • All applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively coaching and managing the staff
  • Planning, developing short-and long-term goals
  • Meeting requirements based on objectives set by upper management
  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Maintain accountability for sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
