About The Position
CLASS B DRIVER /WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (ONE POSITION) EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME DRIVER: DRIVE A TRUCK OR VAN WITH A CAPACITY OF OVER 26,000 GVW, PRIMARILY TO DELIVER OR PICK UP MERCHANDISE OR TO DELIVER PACKAGES WITHIN A SPECIFIED AREA. MAY LOAD AND UNLOAD TRUCK. CLEAN MVR AND UPDATED MEDICAL CARD NEEDED. 90 % DRIVING 10 % WAREHOUSE WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE: VERIFY AND KEEP RECORDS ON INCOMING AND OUTGOING SHIPMENTS. PREPARE ITEMS FOR SHIPMENT. DUTIES INCLUDE ASSEMBLING, ADDRESSING, STAMPING, AND SHIPPING MERCHANDISE OR MATERIAL; RECEIVING, UNPACKING, VERIFYING AND RECORDING INCOMING MERCHANDISE OR MATERIAL; AND ARRANGING FOR CUSTOMER PICK UP OR DELIVERY. Responsibilities
- Drive a truck or van with a capacity of over 26,000 GVW to deliver or pick up merchandise or packages.
- Load and unload truck.
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material.
- Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
- Arrange for customer pick up or delivery.
