About The Position
R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CLASS B Truck Drivers at our Chicago Service Center. As a City P&D Driver you will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight and returning to the terminal daily. This includes multiple stops per working day, working with scan equipment, working directly with customers, and completing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack and/or dolly. CLASS B Truck Drivers, $34.76 hr. Full-Time, Monday – Friday, Shift Start, 10am (8-10 hours daily) Our drivers are home every day! Paid Sick Leave available after the first 30 calendar days of employment. Paid Leave available after the first 90 calendar days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts
Requirements
- CDL Class B License
- Good driving record / MVR.
- Must be capable of delivering excellent customer service
- Must have strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
Nice To Haves
- Experience making deliveries in a commercial vehicle in cities and small towns
- Experience using a lift gate and pallet jack
