Weekly Pay $1,400 to $1,700 Operating Area Macon, GA 31204 Driver Operations Dispatch teams coordinate loads through established regional freight lanes to help Class A CDL drivers maintain steady weekly mileage. Freight moves primarily through distribution centers and shipping facilities located across the eastern half of the country, with most runs staying east of I-35. Planning focuses on keeping experienced CDL-A truck drivers moving between stops efficiently while minimizing delays at customer locations. Freight Overview Freight assignments consist primarily of dry van shipments moving through consistent customer lanes. A large percentage of the freight is no-touch, and many trailers are preloaded or drop-and-hook, allowing professional drivers to maximize driving time rather than spending hours waiting at loading docks. Drivers occasionally see runs that extend across the continental network, but the majority of freight remains within established regional routing patterns. Home Time Drivers operating within this fleet return home every other weekend for a full 48-hour reset period. This schedule allows experienced CDL A drivers to maintain a consistent work rhythm while still enjoying dependable time off between dispatch cycles. Fleet Equipment Late-model Freightliner and Kenworth tractors are assigned to this fleet.
