Requirements

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible Commercial Driving experience.
  • A High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Valid Class A Driver’s License with X-Combination (Hazmat & Tanker) endorsement required.
  • A clean driving history. Motor Vehicle Records report must be submitted to HR@asciLLC.com after applying for position.
  • Oversize Load Escort certification required, or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Forklift certification required, or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Ability to pass a government administered background investigation to be granted access to government systems and/or worksites.
  • REAL ID required for worksite access.

Nice To Haves

  • P-Passenger endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform delivery and tractor trailer services.
  • Move aircraft, aircraft parts, components, tools, equipment and hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
  • Perform moves to and from buildings, shops, stations, both within the FRCE and to/from and within adjacent, leased and outlying areas.
  • Perform both standard and oversized load moves within and outside of North Carolina.
  • Ensure proper permits and escort personnel are available prior to completing moves.
  • Perform trips greater than 200 miles.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured before moving any materials.
  • Comply with all required DOT laws and regulations.
  • Operate pickup trucks, vans, stake beds, tractor-trailers and passenger busses (if qualified).
  • Perform fuel nozzle operations.
  • Complete fuel nozzle training.
  • Perform daily refueling of non-aeronautical facility equipment, facility test cells and GSA.
  • Ride with a Station Fuels Directorate truck operator as required.
  • Conduct periodic and opportunistic inspections.
  • Maintain a fuel level log to record daily level verification.
  • Check test cell fuel levels.
  • Perform proper planning and performance of refueling activities to prevent weekend fuel support needs.
  • Refuel GSE equipment staged throughout the facility once daily.
  • Complete 10/10 preservation activities
  • Perform daily checks in accordance with NAVAIR 0080T-109 Aircraft Refueling NATOPS Manual, Chapter 13.
  • Take and inspect samples in accordance with NAVAIR 15-01-500 Preservation of Naval Aircraft and provide samples to the FRCE Materials Laboratory, Building 4032
  • Complete 10/10 preservation truck daily, weekly and monthly checklists and obtain supervisor signature on each.
  • Filter/Separator Pressure Drop Log
  • Filter/Separator Pressure Drop Graph
  • Hose End Pressure Regulator (HEPR)
  • Cabin Carbon Monoxide (CO) levels
  • Load/unload aircraft with 10/10 preservation oil.
  • Load 10/10 trucks with 10/10 preservation oil.
  • Maintain an aircraft dispatch refueling log.
  • Operate motor vehicles and equipment safely and in accordance with FRCEAST protocols.
  • Ability to perform and assist with Level I and Level II Equipment Operator functions.
  • Conduct operational check of equipment used in accordance with FRCEAST Form 11200/2.
  • Report completion of assignments to dispatcher by radio.
