About The Position

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating tractor-trailer and flatbed equipment to support Panhandle’s oilfield and customer operations. This is a local, safety-sensitive position involving early morning starts and area deliveries. Drivers are home daily and must be available to work any day of the week based on operational needs. Safely operate tractor-trailer and flatbed equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT regulations Complete driver e-logs, job tickets, and required documentation accurately Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly Local position with early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • CDL must be current and not restricted to automatic transmissions if operating manual equipment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Clean driving record with no major moving violations in the past three years
  • Limited or no preventable accidents
  • Subject to DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and ELD use
  • Must successfully complete DOT drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment and random testing
  • Maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
  • Subject to motor vehicle record (MVR) review
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating commercial motor vehicles
  • Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs multiple times per shift
  • Ability to secure loads, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds as required
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain
  • Ability to maintain alertness and safely operate equipment for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience preferred
  • 10-speed manual transmission experience required if operating manual trucks
