About The Position

Assist Monoclonal Department Supervisor with performing hands on classical fusion work and cell culture growth.

Requirements

  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Windows based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations.

  • Associate's degree or B.S. (preferred) in relevant field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the lab.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all requirements of the department are executed in a timely and compliant manner. This may include production and quality activities.
  • Maintain compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
  • RNA and cDNA creation from FACS sorted memory Bcells.
  • PCR recovery of antibody variable genes from Llamas, Alpacas, Rabbits, Cows and Chickens.
  • Agarose gel extraction, DNA purification and quantification.
  • V-gene primer stock, cDNA kit, PCR kit and DNA purification kit ordering and oversight (Primer design, troubleshooting and optimization as needed).
  • Amplicon generation and purification for Illumina NGS. Coordination of shipment of final amplicon product to CRO for NGS.
  • Platelet analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Operation of the following equipment: PCR machine, Agarose gel box, UV box, Microwave, Power Supply, Benchtop Centrifuge, Access to Hood/Safety Cabinet.
