The Center Store 3rd Shift Stocker plays a crucial role in ensuring that items are stocked and organized across multiple departments, including grocery, frozen, dairy, general merchandise, wine & spirits, and health & beauty. This position is essential for maintaining a clean and well-stocked shopping experience for our guests during the evening/night shift.

Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse crew in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough understanding of, and willingness to learn all safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Ability to learn and use various systems, including Point-Of-Sale register system.
• Ability to learn and safely use equipment such as power jack, walk behind lift, WAV, baler, and compactor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality and presentation by completing product rotation using the first in-first out method and verifying that all items are properly displayed according to planograms.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting, acknowledging, and reacting to guest needs throughout the store.
• Assist with stock organization and unloading product deliveries from pallets, maintaining organized stock rooms across multiple departments.
• Ensure products are presented properly on shelves and throughout the store for an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Observe store conditions and take immediate action to address any areas of opportunity for improvement.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels in all departments, ensuring pricing accuracy on products received and sold.
• Communicate and collaborate with the Center Store leadership team and associates to uphold standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Be ready to step in at the register and support store closing procedures when needed.
• Help guests locate items across departments and suggest products.
• Address guest concerns or dissatisfaction with products or service and take action to resolve issues promptly.
• Contribute to the cleanliness of departments by organizing, sanitizing, and maintaining clean work areas.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance in accordance with the work schedule.
