Job Description Summary Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Governance Own the data architecture for the central compliance function, mapping how data flows across critical processes, systems, and tools. Develop and maintain data models, entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, and data lineage maps to clearly represent how compliance data is created, transformed, and consumed. Establish and maintain core data documentation, including a data dictionary, business glossary, and metadata repository to support consistency and reuse of data across the function. Optimize the use of data across systems for analytics and reporting, ensuring that the compliance function can efficiently leverage data for insights and decision-making. Data Quality Management Own data quality for the central compliance function, identifying data quality issues and root causes across systems. Define and drive data quality improvement plans in partnership with functional teams, DT, and vendors, implementing controls, standards, and monitoring routines. Process Optimization, Automation & AI Continually evaluate compliance processes, systems, and tools to identify waste, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and AI enablement. Collaborate with the Central Compliance Analytics Leader to define detailed functional specifications for AI use cases. Support the Central Compliance Analytics Leader in prioritized AI and automation initiatives through central DT teams, ensuring requirements are met and solutions are successfully integrated into operations. Systems Implementation & Tool Ownership Oversee the functional implementation of new compliance systems, from requirements definition through testing, deployment, and operational integration. Provide ongoing operational support for compliance tools and systems, working with vendors and DT to resolve issues and deliver enhancements. Lead development of training content and deliver user training to ensure systems are used consistently and in alignment with defined business processes. Reporting & Data Products Expand self-service reporting capabilities across Central Compliance, enabling users to access and interpret data independently. Identify and recommend new data products or enhancements to existing products to the product council, based on emerging compliance needs and user feedback. Digital Channels & Content Operations Own day-to-day operations for the central Compliance intranet site, compliance-related external web content, dashboards, databases, and other digital tools used by the function. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, simplify, and improve access, usability and consistency across digital touchpoints. Project & Portfolio Management Manage the Central Compliance DT project pipeline on behalf of functional project leaders, from concept and functional specifications through deployment and operational integration. Monitor project status, risks, and dependencies, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders and alignment with compliance priorities. Data & Communication Operations Redesign and oversee the process for establishing and maintaining distribution lists across central compliance and key partner groups, ensuring accurate, secure, and efficient communication. Team Leadership Manage the Compliance Risk Operations Analyst, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and strong partnership with FLIGHT DECK coach, DT and business stakeholders. Vendor & Product Management Collaboration Work closely with the DT Product Owner on software, license, and technical contract support needs related to compliance tools and platforms. Attend product reviews and demos, providing clear, actionable feedback based on functional needs and user experience. Participate in make/buy decisions by assessing software options against requirements, cost, scalability, and integration considerations.
