Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Gundersen Health System is looking for an energetic and service‑minded Central Service Distribution Aide to join our mission‑driven team! What's Available: 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday: 2 nd shift 2:30PM-11PM Every third weekend and two holidays per year: 2 nd shift 2:30PM-11PM Location: Main Campus - La Crosse Department: Distribution Shift differential of $.75/hour for PM's, $1.75/hour for nights & $1.50/hour for weekends This position has an 8/80 hour flex overtime computation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- No experience required
- Ability to multitask and handle conflicting priorities
- Ability to walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs occasionally
Responsibilities
- Provide internal customer service by taking calls from nursing, OR, and clinic staff to fulfill urgent supply & equipment needs.
- Clean and redistribute moveable medical equipment throughout the hospital.
- Unbox and stock nightly deliveries of supplies in hospital storage rooms and the OR.
- Ensure the accuracy of supplies within emergency carts and kits by replacing used or expired items.
- Perform other miscellaneous and as-needed tasks.
