Central Services Tech - Full Time - Days
About The Position
Under direct supervision provides supplies, IV solutions, and equipment to all areas of the medical center and medical center sites as needed. Core Competencies Fills written/verbal request for supplies, IV solutions and equipment. Maintains and delivers all surgical case carts as required. Assembles, exchanges and provides special procedure trays as requested (eg, Swan-Ganz trays, pacemaker trays, isolation carts and latex free boxes). Inventories, restocks and exchanges crash carts Documents the process according to procedure. Assists in maintaining supplies in adequate amounts on the store room shelves, rotates stock and cleans shelving. Understands role in maintaining medication security to authorized personnel only. Utilizes the proper methods when processing paperwork to insure correct charges and accountability. Assists in the training and orientation of new personnel as required. Communicates any special requests or occurrences to the oncoming shift. Inventories and restocks assigned supply carts with required supplies and IV solutions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or Higher Education General Studies
