Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area. In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles, and was the first Accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County. Requirements

• Customer Services experience required.
• Strong clerical and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The centralized scheduler is directly accountable to the Admitting Leadership the Centralized Scheduler routinely schedules tests/procedure cases for all patients where services occur as a scheduled event.
• This may include, but is not limited to; Clinic visits, Surgery, G.I. Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Nutritional Services, Infusion units or any other location where scheduling of a test or procedure may occur.
• Coordinates with departments as necessary.
• Ensures that accurate, complete and thorough patient demographics are entered into the computer system, including insurance and authorizations if applicable.
• Notifies departments as necessary of various services that may require, equipment, instrumentation and supplies from outside vendors for scheduled surgeries.
• Prepares and distributes the surgical schedule and on call list to appropriate departments or personnel.
