About The Position

This position is at LECO’s Ceramic Facility in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Dewax Operator will put parts into can of clay, load them in the oven and unload parts once baked. Loading kilns and unloading kilns and documenting temperatures. Someone in this position will be working with little supervision after on the job training.

Requirements

• Ability to wear respirator for extended amounts of time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs multiple times per shift
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Basic math skills
• Basic quality skills
• Ability to follow all department procedures

Responsibilities

• Material handling
• Lift truck operation
• Kiln operation
• Pack and unpack parts in clay
• Approve and complete records
• Keep work area clean
• Visually inspect parts
• Perform all other duties as requested by supervisor
