About The Position

Always Best Care Senior Services of Alexandria is looking for care professionals to provide in-home personal care services in the greater Alexandria area. We are seeking experienced professionals who are caring, flexible, and always willing to learn. Pay: $18 – $19/hr Shift Details: Immediate openings for day-time shifts between 7am - 7pm. Candidate must be available during these times throughout the week/weekend. CNA certification or license, or PCA certificate required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant certification or license (i.e. CNA, HHA, PCA) sponsored by Virginia Board of Nursing
Previous experience as a caregiver or related field
Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients
Excellent communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Two (2) professional references
Ability to pass criminal record check

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and engage meaningfully with the client.
Assist client with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and transfers.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and light cleaning.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s health and behavior.
Maintain a safe and clean living environment.
Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
