About The Position

As a Certified Dietary Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Park Centre As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will: Lead and Oversee Culinary Operations: Direct all kitchen, tray service, and dining functions for both Health Center and Assisted Living areas, ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation exceed expectations. Supervise and Develop Dietary Team: Hire, train, evaluate, and manage a high-performing dietary staff, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring compliance with all required trainings and policies. Enhance Resident Dining Experience: Collaborate with dietitians, circulate during meals, and implement hospitality initiatives to ensure residents enjoy personalized, high-quality dining every day. Drive Quality and Compliance: Conduct regular audits, maintain accurate dietary records, and ensure full compliance with safety, sanitation, and specialized diet requirements. Champion Equipment and Facility Standards: Monitor kitchen and dining equipment conditions, schedule necessary maintenance, and lead cleanliness and sanitation efforts across all dietary areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare or hospitality, with clinical and administrative knowledge preferred.
  • State-approved Dietary Manager Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • 1 year of food prep/cooking experience preferred; must know and demonstrate use of kitchen equipment.
  • Proficient with PC, MS Windows, Office, and Excel.
