This job provides safe, effective, and motivating group fitness classes for participants of all levels. Provides cutting-edge classes, promotes fitness and positive self-esteem, provides leadership while educating, monitoring and encouraging all participants from beginners to the advanced exerciser, and stays abreast of all current fitness trends. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Applicable certification for specific group fitness class taught
• CPR and AED certified
• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
• Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
• Must be able to perform up to 1.5 hour class

Responsibilities

• Executes classes within program guidelines.
• Maintains certifications for specific group fitness class taught.
• Performs general duties such as class maintenance and substitution.
• Ensures customer service and safety throughout class.
• Other related duties as required.
• Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
