Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communication changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. Mains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
  • CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
