Nature of Work: The University of Colorado College of Nursing is seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or a Certified Midwife (CM) for a part-time (0.3-0.49 FTE) non-benefited position with its University Nurse Midwives (UNM) faculty practice in Aurora, CO (on the Anschutz Medical Campus) to provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, wellness and gynecological care to a select population. This position will work full-scope, including late clinics, weekends and night shifts. Faculty Practice Description: UNM offers families many services including individualized care, group prenatal care, childbirth education, lactation services, behavioral health services, and referrals to specialty care within the University of Colorado and UCHealth systems. UNM provides full-scope midwifery care to individuals at the Anschutz Medical Campus and inpatient care to STRIDE clinic patients. UNM believes that families benefit from personalized and comprehensive care that focuses on the individual while including the family in the plan of care. The practice provides care to families from many countries and strives to offer culturally appropriate care. This position is a faculty appointment, and involvement in the College of Nursing is expected. The midwife will be part of a midwifery service that consists of 20 midwives and has a long and successful history within the University of Colorado system.
