Southwoods Health is seeking a professional and dedicated Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Urology Group. In this role, you will be responsible for rounding at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital covering the urology patient census, providing comprehensive care in a collaborative, patient-focused manner. Working under general direction, you will effectively identify, evaluate, and manage the prevention and treatment of urological diseases. Key responsibilities include: Diagnosis and Treatment: Managing acute, chronic, and long-term healthcare issues within the urology specialty. Collaboration: Partnering with medical staff regarding consultations, complex referrals, and shared patient care. Patient Education: Educating patients and families on medical conditions, preventive care, and the proper use of prescribed medications and treatments. Documentation: Maintaining accurate, legible medical records—including documentation of all evaluations, diagnoses, and procedures—in compliance with state regulatory standards.
