About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance to the patient/family care plan to collect patient information and provide direct patient care contributing significantly to the achievement of patient and family outcomes. As a member of the direct care team, the CNA I is responsible and accountable for complete and accurate collection and recording of data, completion of routine and delegated direct patient care activities and communicating and collaborating with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload. Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement of 16 years old.
  • Must have or has had a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
  • Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid. This is a condition of employment.
  • Employee must immediately notify his/her manager or the Health System’s Compliance Officer if he/she is threatened with exclusion or becomes excluded from any federally funded program.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
