About The Position

A Long Term Care (LTC) facility is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities and provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification (State of New York)
• Prior experience in Long Term Care (LTC) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning patients
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Support nursing staff with patient care tasks
• Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policies
