The CNA provides hands-on care to residents, supporting their health, comfort, and daily living needs. Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, colostomy care, transferring, walking, prosthetic appliances, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises. The CNA observes and reports changes in resident condition, maintains accurate records, and supports the supervising nurse with delegated tasks such as recording vital signs and collecting specimens.
