About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide HHA with experience in one-on-one behavioral care and detox experience. This role requires strong observation skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to provide safe, supportive care during detoxification and recovery.
Requirements
- Active CNA / HHA certification in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral & detox care
- Experience providing one-on-one patient supervision
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of withdrawal symptoms and safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one supervision and care for clients during detox and recovery
- Monitor vital signs and report withdrawal symptoms or changes in condition to supervising nurse
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Support medication reminders as directed by licensed staff
- Ensure client safety and maintain a calm, structured environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation in home settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
