Perform comprehensive occupational therapy treatment and related follow-up services including discharge planning. Train and educate patients and family members or others and document understanding of treatment plan and goals. Document and submit patient reports and charges within the established timeframe. Exercise clinical judgment following an occupational therapy plan of care. Provide occupational therapy according to standards of care defined by the state practice act and other professional and governing agencies. Provide occupational therapy, including selection and use of adaptive equipment. Report patient progress and collaborate with evaluating therapist to implement the therapy plan of care. Supervise Rehab Techs.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Required
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - Required

Nice To Haves

  • National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (COTA) - Preferred
