The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. Requirements
- Coursework/Training: Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level or current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT).
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals or Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing or Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association.
- 6 months PCT experience in an acute care setting.
Nice To Haves
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- 6 months Phlebotomy experience.
