Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (COA)
  • Certified or recertified by the NBCRNA
  • Eligible for medical malpractice coverage per institutional/state requirements
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in anesthesia care
  • Active RN license in Illinois and compliance with CRNA regulatory requirements
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced perioperative anesthesia services for patients (ages 17+) across all acuity levels in various hospital settings, including:
  • Surgical procedures (open, robotic, laparoscopic) such as neurosurgery, ENT, thoracic, abdominal, orthopedic, and plastic/reconstructive surgery
  • Diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures including gastroenterology, pulmonology, interventional radiology, pain management, radiation oncology, CT, and MRI
