About The Position

We have the following Certified School Nurse (CSN) Long Term Sub – High School Level position available: 1.0 Certified School Nurse (CSN) Long Term Sub - Rustin HS Starting 1/30/2026 through TBD The Certified School Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates the mandated School Health Services as defined by the Pennsylvania School Code and initiates health problem follow-up, counseling and referrals to ensure comprehensive student health care. The certified school nurse initiates student and staff health education, wellness and safety programs that promote healthy lifestyles and the utilization of community resources.

Requirements

• BSN with valid PA certification
• Proficiency in the use of technology for individual communication, research and statistical reporting
• Proficiency in presentation of technology to enhance small and large student group information and demonstration sessions
• Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with other teachers, administrators

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates the mandated School Health Services as defined by the Pennsylvania School Code
• Initiates health problem follow-up, counseling and referrals to ensure comprehensive student health care.
