About The Position

As a Fellow Intern in the CFD Research organization, you will: Participate in the development of high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) Participate in validation & verification efforts to advance computational methodologies and/or to demonstrate new technologies. An internship with us will provide valuable hands-on experience to help you launch your career in industrial research. Intern assignments are typically for 12-14 weeks; working side by side with experts in the field of mechanical engineering, completing challenging technical projects and applying theoretical knowledge to real-life technical problems. This program includes seminars on cross-center technology and soft skills development as well as opportunities for networking and showcasing project accomplishments. Requirements

  • Current or upcoming enrollment in a full time Ph.D. program at an accredited university majoring in Aerospace Engineering or related STEM discipline.
  • Willing to work out onsite at the GE Aerospace Research facility in Niskayuna, NY.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale
  • Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required.
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons.
  • GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
