We have an exciting opportunity for a CFD Venting Analysis Engineer to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL . If selected you will: Perform analyses and apply physics-based models for the prediction of compartment venting and acoustic environments of space transportation vehicles. Apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problems, data, or other work features that are broad in scope and complexity. Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from various engineering tasks. Prepare and present analyses results to technical teams and review boards. Develop and deliver analyses products, documents, presentations, and action item responses. Participate in reviews, meetings, teleconferences, and working groups. Communicate issues, best practices, lessons-learned and other technical positions related to aerothermal analyses. Identify, describe, and communicate potential risks. Deliver project briefings to all levels of management. Provide clear and effective communication with internal and external partners and stakeholders. Qualifications: This position has been posted at multiple levels. A degree from an ABET accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a BS with at least 30+ years (or Masters with 28+ years or PhD with 24+ years) of relevant experience.
