About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for a Experienced, Lead or Senior Change Integrator (Level 3, 4 or 5) in New Orleans, Louisiana, Kennedy Space Center, Florida, or Huntsville, Alabama. This role evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 1+ years of experience with maintaining and supporting process updates and engineering changes
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering (Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements, or Test)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with NASA
  • Experience with contract proposal preparation related to review and coordination of contract configuration management
  • Experience processing change control documents and leading change boards
  • Configuration management experience on NASA contracts
  • Experience with APDM / Windchill / CSDT / CPES

Responsibilities

  • Supports the implementation and improvement of Configuration Management standards for product hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle
  • Process change control documents (such as Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Change Documents (CDs), deviations, Engineering Orders (Eos), and others)
  • Conduct Program Control Boards (CCB)
  • Supports execution of changes in support of program execution and configuration management
  • Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability
  • Ability to work ship-side with manufacturing support and manufacturing build team
  • Provides additional CM / PLM support as needed for team success
  • Works under minimal direction
